Day 1: Arrival at Uttarkashi

Arrive in Uttarkashi, a peaceful Himalayan town located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. After check-in at the guest house, explore the famous Vishwanath Temple and nearby local markets. The rest of the day is reserved for expedition briefing, document checks, and final preparation for the climb.Overnight stay at guest house in Uttarkashi

Day 2: Uttarkashi to Gangotri

Mount Gangotri III Expedition officially begins today. Drive through scenic mountain roads from Uttarkashi to Gangotri. Vehicles will pick up participants from the hotel at 08:00 AM. On arrival, visit the sacred Gangotri Temple and attend the evening aarti to seek blessings for a safe and successful expedition.Overnight stay at guest house in Gangotri

Day 3: Gangotri to Nala Camp

Today marks the first trekking day. After morning prayers at Gangotri Temple, the trail follows the Rudugaira Valley. En route, witness the stunning Surya Kund waterfall on the Bhagirathi River and pass the historic Pandava Cave, believed to have sheltered the Pandavas. The trail offers deep valleys, shaded forest sections, and scenic mountain views. After crossing the Rudugaira stream via a long bridge, a gentle ascent leads to Nala Camp, located beside a mountain stream.Overnight stay in tents at Nala Camp

Day 4: Nala Camp to Base Camp

Begin the ascent toward Gangotri Base Camp. The trail gradually leaves the tree line and opens into lush alpine meadows of the Rudugaira Valley. After crossing undulating meadows, the final section involves rocky moraine terrain and remnants of the Rudugaira Glacier. Base Camp serves as the staging point for peaks of the Gangotri Massif – Gangotri I, II, and III.Overnight stay in tents at Base Camp
